Welcome to Our Nursery
Springbank Little Learners is a popular, well established nursery based at Springbank Primary Academy.
We originally operated from Ron Smiths Pavilion; in 2005 we moved to a building on the grounds of Springbank Primary Academy In September 2017 Arthur Dye Little learners became part of the school and adopted the same name and became part of the Gloucestershire Learning Alliance, a small trust of seven schools with onsite nurseries and pre-schools. The GLA has developed a positive reputation for quality-first teaching and learning, sharing the immense expertise, talent and experience across the individual academies. working with schools in special measures as well as supporting schools through bespoke training. We moved into a lovely new purpose built building which will provides an excellent venue for our children to participate in a wide variety of activities, supervised by our experienced staff.
We have a dynamic team who are passionate about providing the best possible care and learning environment for our children. We focus on learning through play where children are encouraged to explore and use their imaginations.
Our children benefit from excellent early years education within our spacious environment and outdoor learning area. At Springbank Little Learners, we believe that all children have a right to develop and learn in an environment that is free from prejudice and discrimination. Each child should be valued and respected as an individual have their needs met and have the opportunity to develop to his or her full potential. We recognise the wide-ranging needs of children and their families within the community and endeavour to play a part in meeting their needs. For more information please click on the following link.

The children would benefit from experiencing early educational activities as part of the wider school curriculum to support their learning and development. This also means greater access to the shared resources of the school, including the use of the school hall and equipment for PE sessions and the studio for musical, movement and dance activities. Children staying for lunch can either bring a packed lunch or order a hot meal from the school canteen (preschool children eat their lunch in the school dinner hall). Pupils from the school regularly visit us for buddy reading sessions. The school organises many special events throughout the year.
