Admissions
Thank you for considering Springbank Primary Academy for your child. We understand that choosing a school is a very important decision. Before doing so, we strongly recommend a visit for a personal tour with a member of our leadership team or for one of our scheduled open mornings, details of which will be published on the school’s Facebook page and website. Either way, you will be warmly welcomed and will be able to see what happens on a day-to-day basis, talk about how you could be involved, and find out how children learn through our exciting and engaging curriculum.
Springbank Primary Academy has a set Published Admission Number. This is the number we are obliged to admit into each year group. This number is agreed with Gloucestershire County Council and is currently 60 pupils each year. Although the Trust board has responsibility for deciding on admissions, the Local Authority will co-ordinate all admissions in its area and will communicate all admission decisions to parents.
The Gloucestershire School Admissions website provides thorough details about applying for a school place, ranging from general booklets and guidance, the appeals process and school transport when you don't live within walking distance of the school.
RECEPTION 2025
If you wish to apply for a Reception place for 2025, please visit the Gloucestershire County Council admissions page which will outline how you apply online.
APPLICATION FOR 'IN YEAR' SCHOOL PLACES
As an academy, in-year applications for places at our school must be made directly to school by completing the Gloucestershire in-year application form (available by clicking here) and sending it in to us.
Please complete the form and return it via email to admin.SPA@glatrust.org.uk or return it to the school office.
